How to sort through your clothes at the start of the school year?

It is essential to get rid of those clothes that clutter your closets without bringing you anything!  Back to school is the perfect time to organize your wardrobe, a tidy wardrobe is a restful moment. Beyond the well-being that this will give you, it is also important to understand why it is necessary to do this sorting and how to go about it.

What are the steps to properly sorting and organizing your wardrobe?

To begin, it is essential to have an overview by completely emptying your closet. This will allow you to better visualize the extent of the situation and above all to identify the parts that you had forgotten!

Once you have completed this step, you will need to start organizing the clothes by categories in order to better navigate. Start by separating coats from jackets, jeans from dresses, and summer tops from sweaters.

This will allow you to sort your clothes based on the quantity you own for each category.

Now it's time to ask yourself the 3 questions that will allow you to make the right decision before parting with your clothes.

- “Have I worn this item of clothing in the last (12-18) months?”

- “Does it still match my current style?”

- “Does this item still fit me?” »

If the answer to each of these questions is no , then it's time to part ways!

All you need to do is make two separate piles with, in one, the items you want to keep, and in the other those you are going to part with for good.
